Becoming an elite member of Xe03 is no easy feat. We don't accept people who don't go through tryouts, as we need to weed out the best from the rest. We have a certain number of recruiters, chosen because of their critical eye and intuition. The process to becoming one of us is outlined below.

Step 1: Getting a Recruiter
First off you need to get a recruiter to notice you. There are a few recruiters in Xe03, most with an unimaginably high expectation of you. You need to contact ONE recruiter and get him/her to add you to his/her friends list. If you can't get the invite accepted, chances are the recruiter's friends list is filled. Try another, one at a time, until you can get somebody. Recruiters have a green R below their name on the Roster page.

Step 2: Pre-Requisites
So, by now you have a recruiter in your Friends List. Make sure you have these requisites checked off: At least a Major Grade 1, you play a lot of Halo, and you are an asset to the team. If you aren't a Major yet, play a bit more, unless you can prove that you are on a new account and you have gotten to Major or higher on an older account. Playing lots of Halo is simple, maybe an hour a day, 2 hours every other, etc. You can be absent for a little bit, just make sure it's not 3 months or something. To be an asset to the team can mean a multitude of things: You can kill a lot, get a lot of assists, be lookout, anything that can make a squad consistently win games.

Step 3: Preliminaries
Once you have a recruiter in your party you can officially try out of Xe03. The recruiter will go through a number of games at different maps and gametypes in the Social setting, then if you can pass those will give you the final test with Ranked games. To pass you need to show you are useful, can kill an opponent if need be, and don't rush in and die over and over and over and over. At the end of the test the recruiter will let you know if you got in or not.
